Problem Identification and Ideas

When come to finding the information about the theme given, it is better for me to find the suitable approaches of generating media toward the public and later will be more specific on finding any common issues about the urbanism media within the art and science.
Here are some of my concerned issues that I would like to bring up with some detailed researches.

1.   The development in urbanism society

Some of the references and news have mentioned about the rapid growth and development in our urbanism cultures. The issues that talked about what has influenced the rapid development have caught my attention to address this issue. From what I mean by development is the growth of numbers in the societies. I would like to find and do some researches about the factors that influenced the increased numbers of people and will address the results to the public.

There are some factors and questionnaires that I need to bring, regarding the development in urbanism:
1)    How the development occurs in a small society in one area
2)    How to understand better about the large numbers of development in the urbanism
3)    What affect the development in the societies
4)    Does the development that need to be concern is more on the numbers of people or the surroundings or both

2.   Sudden changes of fashion trend and lifestyle

It is common if we tend to see some changes in our societies’ lifestyle, but sometimes the change of trend among our societies can give a very big difference in our daily life. Every years or so, we do realize some changes in our communities lifestyle, for example, fashion. The current trends can also visualize what in our societies are currently going into and whether these changes will give some impact in the living of urbanism. There are quite a lot to talk about trend-related issues, since it is mostly focused more on young generation, which is good for research purposes.

Some factors that I would like to take notes about the trend in the urbanism:

1)    What drives the society to change their lifestyle
2)    Why teenagers always follow the current trend and change the lifestyle easily
3)    Does the local lifestyle or fashion trend faded away as the influences from the outsiders invaded the societies
4)    Is it necessary to re-introduce the local lifestyle back to the societies that will affect overall urbanism life

3.   Time management in the daily life of societies

Although people live in the same lifestyle in one society, but not many people would ever wonder whether they are doing something similar with other people in their daily life. Also, sometimes, their actions can somewhat give big impact to their own lives and for the others as well, which is somehow very interesting to find out the outcomes. The life in the urbanism is so busy that makes me wonder whether they actually do manage their time to do something that is a bit productive and give benefits to the societies.

What I really concern about the time management in urbanism:
1)    What people usually do mostly in their 24 hours lifestyle
2)    Do people in the same place did the same thing every day like the others
3)    If people are giving only 1 minutes to do something that they normally do their daily life, do the similar results will occur in a higher rate
4)    What gives the effect to urbanism with similar time management result.

What is Urbanism?

From my understanding, Urbanism means the understanding about the societies or people who live in the area that have been influenced by the surroundings.

Quote from Wikipedia:

"The study of how inhabitants of towns and cities interact with the built environment. Urbanism focuses on the geography, economy, politics and social characteristics of the urban environment, as well as the effects on, and caused by, the built environment."
